Getting these right is critical to success.
It's actually during recovery that your muscles develop to in response to training. Without it you might as well stay in bed!
Recovery is complex: it is both physical and mental. Mind and body are not separate and as you will discover are even more closely linked than most sports psychologists appreciate.
And if you don't fuel the body properly it won't have the fuel to keep you working at optimum performance - both in training and racing - nor will it have the building blocks to develop.
